The Haven of Darkness

The Haven of Darkness, our department's entry to the Halloween Decor Contest

Earlier I blogged about "Project Halloween", the making of our halloween decors.  This is now the result of  the combined efforts of my staff at the Administration Department.  We were very tired for a couple of days making all these halloween decors in time for my company's Trick or Treat day and the judging day for the Halloween Decor.  We are not expecting to win as there are other departments in both cell fabs (Fab 1 and 2) who are participating.  What is important is we made the Halloween Trick or Trick day alive and more fun and memorable for the kids who are coming to our company.

This is the facade.  I like the two pumpkin clay lamps.  They add life to the frontage.

Fiesta at Fab 2 : Sir Boy Alfelor's Birthday

Our Fab 2 Recreational Area was transformed to look like having a town fiesta

Sir Boy Alfelor, Fab 2 Site Director celebrated his birthday last October 28, 2010 and his Fab 2 staff gave him a surprise.  The Recreational Area at Fab 2 was transformed to look like having a town fiesta. Real banana trees were place inside the venue and some colorful flags were hanged similar to a town fiesta.  Being a Filipino, Sir Boy likes anything that has a touch of Filipino in it.  In fact he even built a beautiful big Bahay Kubo as his second home in Taytay, Rizal.  My boss an American who is Sir Boy's boss as well missed this event.  He was being interviewed for the PEZA coffee table at that time.  He missed the fun !

Project Halloween: Creatures of Darkness

Transforming our x-mas decors into creatures of darkness

In connection with the upcoming Halloween, my company came out with the Halloween Decor Contest and Trick or Treat Day.  My department participated in this event and we have to decorate our work area to make it a house of horror.  I have decided to utilize our existing Christmas decorations to make some creatures of darkness.
